Our programs offer the opportunity to develop professional and business skills in a corporate environment with the ability to gain exposure to the investment management industry.
INTERN AND CO-OP JOB OPENINGS
Summer Internship Program
Eaton Vance’s 10-week Summer Internship Program is designed to provide incoming undergraduate seniors with the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical, professional, and interpersonal skills.
Each summer, we hire 25-30 interns in positions across the organization, including:

MBA Equity Research Analyst Summer Program
Eaton Vance's MBA Equity Research Analyst Summer Program is designed for first-year MBA students to have real-world analyst responsibilies throughout the summer and participate in professional development, mentorship, and community service.
Over the course of the 10 weeks, analysts will gain exposure to different investment teams and styles, and analyze an assigned group of companies within an industry to develop investment recommendations that have a direct impact on Eaton Vance's funds. Full-time analyst positions will be considered for top performers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to initiate and sustain high-level fundamental equity analysis of publicly traded companies
- Energetically pursue diligent equity research through various sources of information, including review public documents, annual reports, trade journals, networking with industry competitors, clients and suppliers, interviews with senior management, and working with sell-side research analysts
- Develop and sustain a high level of attention to and responsibility for the needs of all porfolios and their different investment styles
- Proactively participate in all research meetings with portfolio managers and be team-oriented
Co-op Program
Eaton Vance hires undergraduate co-ops across all areas of the organization. Co-ops spend six months fully immersed in their work and EV culture, resulting in an enriching and formative experience.
These programs encompass the following:
- Training: Interns and co-ops participate in an immersive orientation, taking training courses that range from an overview of the mutual fund service industry to an insider’s view of the Eaton Vance brands, investment offerings, workplace and culture.
- Networking: Interns and co-ops are provided with a unique opportunity to network with employees through Eaton Vance’s “Lunch & Learn” series, which features speakers from across the firm, and through our Diversity & Inclusion Employee Resource Groups.
- Giving Back: Interns and co-ops participate in multiple volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits and charitable organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and Thompson Island.
